Juliette & Jorge’s Tahoe Engagement Session
I’m so excited to finally share Juliette and Jorge’s engagement session at Lake Tahoe, especially because it was recently featured on Rocky Mountain Bride.

Pretty on the Water Engagements in Nevada
Everything about this evening felt so easy and natural. Tahoe showed off for us with the calmest water, warm golden light, and perfect weather for a sunset boat session. Being out on the lake made the whole experience feel peaceful, intimate, and a little adventurous all at once.
Juliette and Jorge chose outfits that fit the setting perfectly and moved so beautifully in the wind and light. Every detail came together in a way that felt effortless.
What made this session even more meaningful was the connection they already had to Lake Tahoe. As Juliette shared:
“In the seven years we have been together, I have spent every summer living and working in Tahoe. Jorge, my fiancé, would find time in his busy work schedule to visit me in Tahoe every summer. It quickly became a special place for both of us. Every hour we had together in Tahoe felt so magical and special. Last summer, Jorge came up to Tahoe with a ring in his suitcase. I knew he was planning to propose, but I didn’t know how or where. When we got ready for dinner, and I came down the stairs, I realized everybody had left. As Jorge began driving us to dinner, he passed the restaurant and drove to our favorite beach. As we walked down to the pier, I saw all the gorgeous decorations and flowers and realized this was the moment. As we reached the end of the pier, he kissed me, and we shared the most beautiful moment together. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After I caught my breath, I said yes! My family all then popped up from their hiding places and celebrated with us. It was the absolute perfect engagement.”
Sessions like this are always a reminder that the best photos come from places and moments that already mean something to you.
