Sydney and Andrew requested downtown San Francisco for their engagement session. After some location scouting, we decided we could start the session on California Street; I loved all the beautiful architecture, the trees and flowers, and how you could see the golden gate bridge when you looked down at the city from a crosswalk. And for the second part of the session, we decided on the Legion of Honor Museum. What made this location unique were the two rows of Greek-ionic pillars you walk past before entering the museum. I loved the idea of getting creative with the perspective of the leading lines the pillars created, the direct sun, and the shadows the pillars cast. I enjoyed letting my creativity flow; of course, Sydney and Andrew were terrific to work with.
